We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in generating orders and increasing revenue at T-SQUARED Validair.
This is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to gain in depth knowledge of the operational aspects of the business, develop within the organisation, be actively involved in its ambitious growth plans, with a clear pathway to progress into senior and executive management roles.
The successful candidate will join a strong and expanding Group and to work with our existing team at T-SQUARED Validair and can be based from one of the Group’s offices in Basingstoke, Swindon or Durham.
The ideal candidate will have some experience with contamination control, cleanrooms, CQV (commissioning, qualification and validation), industry standards and guidelines (ISO14644, EU GMP, EN 12469, HSG258)
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead generation and follow up: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, including researching potential client and following up on leads to secure new sales.
- Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new customers, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and working with the operational deliver teams to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Sales growth and revenue generation: Increase sales performance by achieving and exceeding targets , increasing orders, and maximising revenue with cross-selling and up-selling opportunities for all the products and services within the group, with both new and existing customers.
- Customer visits and field sales: Conduct regular on-site visit to prospective and existing customers to assess their requirements, present tailored solutions, and secure business commitments.
- Proposal and quotation management: Prepare and deliver accurate and detailed quotations, assuring alignment with customer expectations and the company’s pricing structure.
- Market and industry analysis: Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities with the cleanroom and contamination control technology sector, to feed into sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
- Sales reporting and forecasting: Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions, providing regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Attendance at industry events: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads and promote company services, as well as enhance the company’s market presence.
- Technical knowledge development: Continuously develop expertise in cleanroom technology, products and industries’ standards and guidance. Utilise this knowledge to advise customers and deliver bespoke solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- An ambitious person with a strong proactive attitude
- A proven track record in new business sales and growth
- Technical expertise in cleanroom technology, contamination control and HVAC
- A willingness to travel to visit customers for face-to-face appointments
- Customer account management experience
- Familiarity and experience with using Sales Management Software systems
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the cleanroom and contamination control industry
- Minimum 10 years’ sales experience

This is a great opportunity to join our professional team of test engineers, where you will follow a dedicated training programme, to learn how to perform essential re-qualification & commissioning of cleanrooms and clean air equipment at our customer sites, including hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical manufacturing and research laboratories.
Day to day activities will include
Following a dedicated training programme, you will learn how to perform:
Validation of cleanrooms (Air volumes, Differential pressures, Gauge verification, HEPA filter testing, Airborne particulate counts etc).
Re-qualification of Clean Air Devices (Microbiological Safety Cabinets, Isolators, Uni-directional Flow Workstations, Fume Cabinets, LEV Systems).
Environmental monitoring (settle plates, contact plates, active air sampling).
Successful candidate will have
Excellent customer service & relationship building skills
Proficient computer skills including E-mail, Microsoft Excel & Word (Office 365)
Full UK Driving License
Passport
Full training will be given

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
We welcome applicants from all locations however, Southern England would be preferable.
Base salary of £23,690pa with potential to earn upwards of £13k in overtime per year.

Base salary of £37,000 – with the potential to earn upwards of £50,000 incl. overtime

Ideally, you will have extensive experience in working to and knowledge of:
Testing to BS EN 12469, ISO 14644, BS EN 14175 standards
Installation & Operational Qualification (IQOQ)
